Shin Joo-young, The Tallest Person in the KBL Draft at 199.4 cm... The Fastest Player is Min Ki-nam

Among the 30 players who participated in the 2023 professional basketball rookie draft, the 'tallest' was Korea University center Shin Ju-young.

Shin Joo-young ranked first in height among participating players at the rookie draft combine held at the KBL Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the 12th with a height of 199.4 cm. 

Yonsei University's Kim Geon-woo (199.1 cm) was followed by Chung-Ang University's Lee Kang-hyun (198.1 cm).

The heaviest player was Seungbin Choi (Konkuk University, 99.7kg).

Choi Seung-bin, who earned the nickname 'Kang Baek-ho' for walking around the court with his hair cut short and dyed red, was measured at 191.5 cm.

The player with the highest ‘physical height’ was Kim Geon-woo.

Kim Geon-woo, who has a wingspan of 208cm, which is about 9cm longer than his height, recorded a max vertical reach of 349.8cm and ranked first overall.

This is a record set by leaping 86.44cm into the air after landing.

In the max vertical jump, which involves jumping to the top through a lunge, Jo Jun-hee (Cerritos University) and Lee Hak-seung (Dongguk University), both born in 2004, tied for first place with 91.2 cm.

Dongguk University's Park Seung-jae (78.46 cm) had the highest jump in place.

The fastest athlete was 
Min Ki-nam of Sungkyunkwan University.

Min Ki-nam recorded the best time of 10.07 seconds in lane agility, which measures agility and quickness.
This is the highest record since the combine was introduced in 2017.

It is faster than last year's best record of Song Dong-hoon (KCC), which was measured at 10.39 seconds.

Min Ki-nam was also first in the ¾ court sprint with a time of 3.11 seconds.

The 10-yard sprint took third place with a time of 1.56 seconds.

First place in this category was Seungbin Pyo (Hanyang University, 1.53 seconds).

Kim Geon-woo (28) ranked first in the max bench press (75 kg), which measures strength and muscular endurance, and Chosun University Yoo Chang-seok (21) ranked first in the max pull-up.

This year's rookie player draft, with a total of 30 participants, will be held at 
Jamsil Student Gymnasium in Seoul at 3 p.m. on the 21st.
