Ahn defeated world No. 4 Tai Chiu-Ying (Chinese Taipei) 2-0 (21-18 21-14) in the women's singles quarterfinals of the tournament in Changzhou, China, on Monday (Sept. 9).
With this victory, Ahn is one step closer to winning her fourth consecutive title at the Korea Open, Japan Open and World Championships.
