Highlights of the fair:
Enjoy a wide array of delicious Vietnamese and Japanese specialties such as sushi, ramen, bánh xèo, and pho. In addition, there will be handicraft stalls showcasing and selling exquisite items from both cultures.
Be amazed by traditional Japanese Yosakoi dance, tea ceremonies, and Noh theater, paired with Vietnamese water puppetry, chèo singing, and the iconic đà n bầu performances—showcasing the diversity and richness of both cultures.
Attendees can try on traditional clothing, such as the Vietnamese áo dà i and Japanese kimono, and participate in fun traditional games like jumping over bamboo poles, mask painting, and origami folding.
This is also a great opportunity for Vietnamese and Japanese businesses to meet, discuss, and explore new partnerships. Furthermore, seminars on scholarships and studying abroad in Japan will provide valuable insights for young people interested in education and future development.
- Opening ceremony: Kicking off at 9:00 AM on October 15th, featuring a dynamic performance combining traditional Japanese Taiko drumming with Vietnamese music.
- Cosplay contest: A lively competition where participants dress up as their favorite Japanese pop culture characters, bringing an exciting and creative atmosphere.
- Lantern festival: On the night of October 16th, the park will glow with handmade lanterns, representing the beauty of both cultures.
