Venetian Announces 2009 Poker Tournament Schedule
For casinos that never even had a poker room, the Venetians built a great reputation for great poker play through some pretty impressive poker tournaments. Deepstack Extra Guns (DSEs) continue to grow in popularity, attracting hundreds of players every game.
The DSE Tournament has a total of four tournaments in 2009: February 2-23, April 1-25, June 1-July 15, and November 1-25.
This year's first series, starting in February, will feature 17 $330 buy-in events, four $550, and two $1,070, the most popular No Limit Texas Hold'em. For some variety, there will be more than eight Omaha tournaments on February 8, HORSE tournaments on February 15, and finally pot-limited Omaha tournaments on February 21.
