German giants Bayern Munich, who want England striker Harry Kane, 30, have reportedly reached an agreement with Tottenham over a transfer fee.
Sports publication The Athletic quoted German sources as saying, "The two clubs have reached an agreement on the transfer of Kane. Now it's up to Kane to decide where he wants to live." "Kane is understood to be happy with Tottenham's new boss, Enze Postecoglou, and wants to stay."
Munich have been active in their pursuit of Kane, making three bids for him this summer, all of which were rejected by Spurs. A bid of €100 million plus add-ons has also been floated, but no agreement has been reached. Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy, who is known to be a hard-nosed man, wants to make more money from Kane.
However, Kane still has about a year left on his contract at Tottenham, and Spurs will have a hard time collecting a transfer fee if they don't let him go this time.
In the meantime, Munich has made a fourth offer to Tottenham. It is not known what has been added to the previous offers. Kane will share the 2023-2024 season with Son Heung-min (31) or Kim Min-jae (27), depending on his choice. Son and Kane have combined for 47 goals at Tottenham, making them one of the best duos in league history. Munich recently signed Kim Min-jae, the best defender in the Italian Serie A last season, to bolster their defense. 먹튀검증
