Description
Harriet Gibbons, portrayed by Lucy Boynton, experiences a unique phenomenon where certain songs transport her back in time to specific moments in her life. In her quest to prevent her boyfriend Max Enders, played by David Corenswet, from a fatal accident, she encounters David Park, portrayed by Justin H. Min, at her support group. Filmmaker Ned Benson presents an intriguing elevator pitch for this movie, showcasing some promising ideas. However, the premise itself requires further development. The concept presents fundamental challenges, such as the need for Harriet to repeatedly revisit the moment of Max's death, which is logical but also burdensome. Additionally, the story forces Max to consistently reject Harriet's efforts, which negatively affects his portrayal as a boyfriend. Unfortunately, the film becomes weighed down by numerous minor issues, detracting from its overall impact.
