3 nights of epic dancing at the friendliest dance event in the world!
Great music, great people, great times! Live music and excellent DJs will have you dancing till you drop. This is not your ordinary dance event.... The Majority of the weekend is dedicated to Lindy Hop and Blues, with plenty of music for each. As the lights drop low a fusion of numerous styles will emerge, stimulating the experimental side of our dancing to get workin'. Across the weekend they'll be music suitable for Charleston, Balboa and Shag in good supply and we also have diverse taster classes that'll push you to new places with your dancing!
The Glasgow Getdown Community has grown over the last 2 years and is filled with wonderful people. A strong element of this event is the importance of time spent relaxing together.
