South Korean men's taekwondo heavyweight hopeful Park Woo-hyuk (23, Samseong Sports One) has won gold in his first Asian Games.

Park defeated Saleh Elsharabati (Jordan) by a round robin score of 2-0 (8-5 6-5) in the men's 80 kg final of the taekwondo competition at the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games on Sunday at the Lin'an Sports and Cultural Exhibition Center in 카지노사이트랭크 Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China.

Park won gold in his first Asian Games appearance.

Park, who won bronze at the 2019 World Championships in Manchester and gold at last year's World Championships in Guadalajara, has established himself as one of Korea's top prospects in the heavyweight division, and he was delighted with his victory over Tokyo 2020 silver medalist El-Sharabati.

It was the third gold medal for the Korean taekwondo team in the competition event.

Jang Joon (Korea Gas Corporation) won gold in the men's 58-kilogram category on Friday and Park Hye-jin (Goyang City Hall) won gold in the women's 53-kilogram category on Saturday.

South Korea's taekwondo team swept both the men's and women's individual gold medals in Poomsae on Sept. 24. 섯다
