Description
Ben Chaplin plays senior producer Marvin Bader, and Peter Sarsgaard plays executive Roone Arledge. The main cast is in the claustrophobic TV gallery on September 5 Flixtor, which is a remarkably tense reenactment of the events. At the center of the film is John Magaro, who plays studio director Geoffrey Mason, who must decide what to broadcast and make snap decisions, one of which is disastrously incorrect. In addition, Zinedine Soualem, a French-Algerian actor, plays engineer Jacques Lesgards, the Arabic equivalent of the Bader's Jewish producer. German actor Leonie Benesch plays the fictional Marianne Gebhardt, who is ashamed of her nation's history and acutely aware of how this tragedy with the Jewish hostages on German territory seems.
Tim Fehlbaum, the director and co-writer, does a great job. The cast does a fantastic job of portraying the frantic and terrifying decisions they must make at short notice that will be aired globally, all while incorporating the real footage into the drama. the cast are bang on capturing the feverish and nightmare decisions they have to make at a moment’s notice that will be transmitted worldwide and that the look of the film is that of the quality of picture that was used at the time only adds to the realism.
