The 2024 edition features significantly improved special effects, a compelling storyline and a cast of memorable characters. I found it thoroughly entertaining from start to finish! I would rate it at least a solid nine out of ten. It seems some viewers are overly critical simply because it's a remake, but this version surpasses the 1979 mini-series—there's no comparison. I encourage everyone to check out Salem's Lot Flixtor; it's worth watching. People should be more open-minded and give it a fair chance. Understandably, some may prefer the original, but this is 2024, and the advancements in special effects and storytelling are remarkable. Additionally, the performances in this version are far more convincing!
