Description
In her supporting role as Annette, the hard-drinking, hard-gambling companion, Jamie Lee Curtis impressed me. We can tell that she misses dancing even though she has given up her career as a showgirl to work as a cocktail waiter. Her character is horribly fabricated, as she chases a vision in her mind without seeing that she appears even older. I was utterly engrossed in the Total Eclipse of the Heart moment, which depicts Annette's wish to remain relevant while Shelly is seen outside admiring the drastically altered city.
