A movie like this rarely surprises someone like me, who attends an absurdly high number of movies every year. That being said, there was nothing but constant novelty about sitting in the dark and watching Kindness unfold before me in Kind of Kindness on Afdah Movies. How exciting it is to be truly enthralled with a movie and capable of losing yourself in it! We can refer to this movie as original, but given the blatantly wild imagination at play, we almost feel the need to redefine the term. Kinds of Kindness also explores the pleasure of binge-watching high-caliber visual storytelling at home, which has kept large segments of moviegoers eager for complex content away from theaters.
