Description
The evil and incredibly comic "Library Gary," who aspires to be a fantasy author, is another notable character. His tale about a hero with an unpronounceable name doesn't appeal to anyone, but they do wonder why Mel's mother is the obvious model for the love relationship Afdah Info. Gary is desperate to obtain Harold's crayon because he believes it has the ability to fulfill his own ambitions. He will stop at nothing to obtain it. Naturally, this sets up Harold and Gary's dramatic showdown, which is a quickdraw showdown in real life. It's as exciting as it sounds, with each seeking to outdraw the other in a battle akin to that between Merlin and Madam Mim in The Sword and the Stone.
