Description
Tony Goldwyn's "Ezra" showcases a unique father-son dynamic, a project close to the heart of the talented director/actor known for his skillful work in films such as "A Walk on the Moon" and "Conviction." Collaborating with a talented trio of actors, he skillfully brings out nuanced performances from each of them. However, the film is held back by a script that leans too heavily on contrived emotions and convenient plot twists. While there are some impactful small moments in "Ezra," they are often overshadowed by larger, overly scripted scenes.
