Description

The Atomstack S20 Pro is the latest addition to Atomstack's premium "S" series. The S20 Pro will be equipped with a quad-core super laser module with a laser power output of 20W. It consists of four 6W laser beams coupled into a single 20W super laser beam, which can cut 12mm sheets at one time, and 8mm acrylic is comfortable.

We could see the S20 Pro come with air boost that is said to be better than the first generation, giving away to customers for free. Air assist is very important for laser cutting machines, it will reduce the temperature of the material surface very effectively, will not let the laser burn the surface, and can also blow away the impurity particles generated during the cutting process, so that dust will not adhere to the material surface. Laser lens.

It is worth mentioning that the S20 Pro will include its own developed APP, which users can control through their mobile phones. However, I personally think it is better to use professional software like Lightburn or LaserGRBL for complex jobs.

Fiber laser marking machine has a function of marking on metal, a kind of 2D engraving. it laser prints patterns on metal by laser burning metal on the surface layer and leaves a permanent mark. Laser Engraver for Metal can also make 3D engraving, just like CNC Router carving on wood, it requires higher laser power and longer time engraving.

Extreme versatility - where lasers really shine is for unique materials and applications. Laser engraving is a versatile marking method, and the applications you can use it for are really only limited by your imagination. The versatility (and ease of use) of lasers far exceeds that of rotary systems. For example, not only can you quickly and easily engrave materials like acrylic and coated metal, but you can also put a pair of blue jeans in a laser cabinet and engrave a design on the pocket. Are your customers looking for unique gifts? You can use a laser to create custom jigsaw puzzles with photos or the shape of a company logo, made from acrylic, wood or even leather.

Many engravers have been able to exploit new and unique markets using laser engraving technology. Examples of more new markets and applications include: quilting patterns, scrapbooking, wooden signs, mirror markers, die, decals, packaging, tailoring holiday decorations and stamp manufacturing. Some engravers are using lasers to cut and engrave logos on soap, and one innovative reader even used his laser-engraved chocolate peanut butter cups as a wedding gift. Electronics, paper greeting cards, wooden models and more can all be created and personalised with a laser engraving system. you understood.
Wood - In the past, typical medals were made by polishing or diamond engraving a metal plate and attaching it to a wooden plaque. The look is appealing, but the process is a bit time-consuming and expensive, especially if any graphics are involved.

Thanks to lasers, engraving wooden plaques now requires simply placing plaques in your laser and engraving to produce beautiful woodwork. The results are amazing. The "burn-in" look of engraving information, graphics or even photos is very attractive for many applications, and the whole process is very simple. Any type of wood can be engraved, including wood finishes, making it an excellent choice for engraving a wide variety of products such as boxes, table top accessories, pens, and more. Another good news about laser plaques is that even if your clients love the look of metal sheets with wood plaques, most off-the-shelf plaques now come with metal sheets that are easy to laser process.

Acrylic - One of the most popular materials for prizes and gifts is acrylic, and laser engraving is considered the most popular engraving method in most cases because the process is simple, cost-effective, fast, efficient and versatile. Acrylic is easy to laser engrave, vaporizing immediately upon contact with the laser beam, leaving bright white letters. Engraving detailed logos and small text onto acrylic is almost a painless process, requiring no special tools or techniques. Lasers can also be used to cut acrylic (outline) shapes with a nice flame polished edge finish.

Photos and detailed graphics - As mentioned earlier, laser engraving systems definitely have the upper hand when it comes to engraving any type of graphics, whether it's clip art, logos or photos. Photos are inherently bitmaps or halftones, i.e. images made up of a series of dots, as are many logos and graphic designs. Because laser engraving is a raster process, these images can be made beautifully with little or no preparation. As mentioned before, rotary sculpting is a vector process, so it is necessary to convert a bitmap to a vector image for sculpting, which is a viable process but more complex and time-consuming.

Laser engraving is a very popular option for personalizing solid surface materials and natural stone. Solid surface materials are easy to laser engrave (much like acrylic), and on dark materials like black marble, laser engraving produces a white matte look. Shooting lasers on these materials works really well. For example, you can achieve a black-and-white photo effect by shining a halftone laser onto light cream or bone-colored stone, then filling the image with black. Alternatively, for a different effect, you can engrave a "negative" photo on black marble or Corian. It is also easy to achieve intricate designs and text on marble and granite with a laser. While rotary engraving can be used to customize solid surface materials, laser engraving has advantages due to its simplicity and speed.

Of course, these are not all applications of these marking methods, but rather examples highlighting the best properties of each marking method. If you are new to the industry or are considering expanding your business, be sure to consider laser engraving and rotary engraving to provide products and services to your customers.

It may be that laser engraving is perfect, or rotary engraving is better for your needs. Or your business could benefit from both technologies. For example, laser engraving is an excellent way to quickly and easily engrave complex graphics and photographs on materials such as acrylic, stone, and coated metals, and it is also an extremely versatile process. On the other hand, rotary engraving is the method used to engrave existing products such as engravable gifts and work that primarily involves text.

So when you're trying to weigh all the pros and cons of the two personalization options, which one is the clear winner? If you are an experienced user familiar with both processes, your conclusion may be that both approaches are best. The choice of which to use for any given job will depend on the specifics of the job.
