Description
Demi Lovato is back in their pop-punk time period. The Grammy-nominated singer just announced HOLY FVCK, their eighth studio album, after the success of Dancing With the Devil in 2021.
Lovato says that this is their most real record yet. The singer of “Cool for the Summer” said, “Making this album has been the most satisfying so far, and I’m thankful to my fans and collaborators for being with me on this journey. I’ve never been sure of myself and my music as much as I am now, and this record shows that. Thank you to my Lovatics who have been with me since the beginning and to those who are just joining us now. This is the record for you.”
The video starts out with a dramatic scene of a pale man turning on a camcorder. Then, we see glimpses of how Lovato’s new album, HOLY FVCK, was made, including lyrics from her Notes app and sounds from the studio.
The lead single “Skin of My Teeth,” which will be released on June 10, is a pop-punk song. At the end of the 30-second clip, we see the singer sitting alone in a tub, brooding in silence. This is the opposite of a creative atmosphere. Demi fans may experience both extremes of loneliness and elation, as well as everything in between, and Lovato wouldn’t want it any other way.
The two-time GRAMMY nominees will release HOLY FVCK on August 19, which will be the start of the next phase of their sharp and raw body of work. Here is all the information about the album that GRAMMY.com could find.
