Description
Danny, Thelma's on Flixtor Movies grandson, has taught her the basics of using the internet. Despite a brief bout of short-term memory loss a few months ago, she has been adjusting to her newfound alone time rather well since becoming a widow two years ago. Thelma tries calling Danny's cell phone first, then her daughter Gail, after receiving a panicked call from Danny claiming to have been in a vehicle accident and demanding $10,000 in cash mailed promptly to a P.O. box. Thelma follows directions and leaves the envelope at the post office since she feels she has to respond to the request right now. She was conned, as Danny, Gail, and her son-in-law discover when they eventually get to her. Sadly, the cops are powerless in this situation.
