It is with great reluctance and a heavy heart that I have taken the decision to step down as Chairman of the Kensington Business Forum. It has been an incredible 4 years and we have held some 50+ events and seen some fantastic offers! We have made some pretty big achievements too in securing the wonderful Christmas lights year on year since taking the position but my new job role is rewarding as it is challenging and I really want to focus all my attention on this for the time being.
We have come so far and after many meetings and discussion I am very excited to be handing the reigns over to someone who not only is the Editor of The Kensington Magazine, a local resident and advocate for all Kensington Business, but through my time at the Forum has become one of my closest friends - Lucy Elliott. Lucy is very excited about taking up the role as Chair and has already made it very clear that she wants to get back to the heart of what we were all about - The businesses and the community!
We hope you will join Lucy and myself for my last event as Chairman and welcome Lucy in to the role at the fantastic Mahiki Kensington! On Tuesday 7th November, we and the team at Mahiki invite you to an Exclusive Launch Event of the most awaited venue in Kensington! Doors will open from 6pm, with drinks and food generously provided by Mahiki, you can meet their team along with Kensington’s finest businesses for networking and chatter!
We expect this to be the biggest event of forums history and hope that you will join us as Mahiki throws open its doors to Kensington’s Business Forum!
Looking forward to seeing you
Jason and Lucy (and the Mahiki Team)
