Riley is just reflecting Val rather than herself since she is so preoccupied with winning Val's approval and disproving her former best buddies on Sadisflix Stream. Additionally, she is so consumed by her competitive needs that she only feels fulfilled when she wins Val's praise or establishes her superiority over her rivals. A mostly satisfying structure results from watching Anxiety transform Riley into a blank character while Joy and the other emotions delve into the shadows of Riley's mind. This allows the film to confidently bounce through visually stunning bursts of color and whimsy for an enticing style that feels at once gentle, fun, and safe for the masses while addressing the pressure of being a teenage girl trying to live up to the high standards set by other teenage girls.
