Amazon, in collaboration with Studio AMA Albera Monti Architetti, is presenting the House in a Box project. The exhibition will be divided into two different types of contemporary style apartments and will offer visitors the opportunity to be inspired by a vast selection of products including affordable design items, high-end brands and innovative smart home solutions. In addition, visitors will be able to explore Amazon's new collections, Alkove and Movian, together with the handicraft products from the Made in Italy store, and will also have the possibility to observe Alexa as it interacts with different smart home products. All the items featured in the exhibition are available on Amazon's special store dedicated to Design Week: Amazon.it/Designweek.
The exhibition will be set up inside Amazon's new headquarters in Milan, in Viale Monte Grappa 3. On April 11th, from 3.00 pm to 8.00 pm, and on April 12th and 13th, from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm, the showroom will be open to visitors, who will have the opportunity to explore it at leisure. Visitors will be able to find more information on the products directly on Amazon.it simply by scanning the SmileCode linked to each item displayed. Visitors will also have the opportunity to take photographs as they walk along a pathway featuring various optical illusions. For customers who wish to enjoy a personalized exhibition experience, guided tours will be organized every half hour.
The exhibition will also offer the opportunity to experiment with new features dedicated to the purchase of furniture: Amazon Augmented Reality, which allows you to view products directly in your home, Amazon 360 Spin, which allows you to view products from all angles, and Discover, a functionality that allows customers to filter items according to their style preferences and provides personalized recommendations from a selection of thousands of products.
