Description

"We're a super team."

The PUBG Weekly Series (PWS) Phase 1 Grand Finals, which crowns the best team in Korea's Battle Royale scene, has come to an end.

The team stood atop the leaderboard on Day 3 of the PWS Grand Finals at the Vita500 Coliseum in Jamsil on Thursday. The final score was 117 points. He took home $40 million in prize money.

With this win, he also qualified for the PUBG Global Series (PGS). He also earned 120 PGS points. The MVP of the tournament was Kim "Heaven" Tae-seong. He received a prize pool of 5 million won.Second place went to DPLUS Kia and third to GNL Esports. Together with Guangdong, they secured a spot in the PGS. The prize money is 20 million won and 10 million won, respectively. They earned 50 and 30 PGC points, respectively.

"I think there is a difference in skill," said Guangdong's Shim "Kyumin" Gyu-min after finishing the second day's matches the day before. We will win the championship." He was full of confidence.

In fact, Day 3 didn't go so easily. They were eliminated for the third time in 11 games, earning just one point. In game 12, they took fifth place and added six points. In game 13, just two points again.

He added 5 points in game 14 and 3 points in game 15. In the end, 17 points were all they had on the day. But we still had something in front of us, a 토토 championship. A win is a win, even if it was close. Now we look to the international tournament.

We had a hard time in 2023, but we made up for it in 2024. The team rebuilt by signing Woo "Salute" Je-hyun, Shim "Kyumin" Kyumin, and Kim "Heaven" Tae-seong. The team hopes to replicate its 2022 success, when it won the PWS three times. It's the return of the 'Battle Royale' franchise.

D-Plus Kia made a scary run and climbed to second place. They were in seventh place until day two. The highly anticipated team didn't have a great start, but they steadily racked up points, including a chicken pickup on Day 3, and ended up with 116 points. Just one point shy of second place.

GNL was in fourth place by the end of Day 2. On the final day, they ate chicken in games 12 and 14. The team racked up points and moved up one spot to third place. Their total score was 113 points. The fourth-place team, GameCoach Academy, received $5 million in prize money.

Meanwhile, DANAWA Esports, who were said to be the strongest team in 2023, finished in 11th place with a final score of 73 points. The team was unable to fill the gap left by the absence of players like Choi "Seoul" Ji-yeol (DePlus Kia) and Woo "Salute" Je-hyun (Guangdong).

Genji was also disappointing. He finished in 13th place with 64 points. He was the favorite to win, but it didn't work out. He was in the bottom half of the field from Day 1. On Day 2, she dropped to 15th place, second from the back. There was no rebound on Day 3.
