## 1 - Fansipan with a height of 3,143m - highest mountains in Vietnam

Fansipan is No.01 in the list of highest Vietnam mountains, also known as the rooftop of Indochina. In the local language, the name of the mountain means "giant tottering stone". Conquering Fansipan is always an extremely meaningful milestone in the conquest of a Vietnamese child. Breaking into much sweat, overcoming dozens of mountaintops, passing more than 20km of forest roads, you will reach the highest peak of Indochina.

Many people choose to go to the top of Fansipan - one of the most famous mountains in Vietnam by cable car across the poetic Muong Hoa valley. They can zoom their eyes downward, embrace the atmosphere and highland scenery. However for those who like to conquer, trekking is still the number 01 choice. The feeling after an arduous journey costing sweat, strength, sometimes you thought as if you couldn’t continue, wanting to give up, but still determined to continue and finally reach the top. This is no longer a simple feeling of conquest, but a feeling of victory over yourself, reaping fruit after so much effort.

- Location: on Hoang Lien Son range, about 9km from Sapa town, Lao Cai province to Southwest

## 2 - Pu Si Lung – 3,080m high - top difficult mountains in Vietnam to conquer

Pu Si Lung possesses a relatively complex terrain, but it is mainly composed of forest roads with slippery slopes and large streams surrounded by ancient old forests. The journey to conquer Pu Si Lung Vietnam mountain is just about walking through the hillsides, but overcoming slopes for 2-3 hours continuously is really not an easy challenge, even for newcomers. Every 10 people try, 8 of them give up.

The road to conquer Pu Si Lung is not too dangerous, but those endless slopes will defeat any young man. Up to now, Pu Si Lung is still considered one of the most difficult mountains in Vietnam to conquer. It is also the desire of conquering mountaineering enthusiasts.

If it is said that where is the most beautiful rhododendron forest, it must be the rhododendron forest in Pu Si Lung. Walking in the rhododendron forest in the blooming season (March-March-April) for about 5 hours, including both the way back and forth equal to 10 hours is an extremely wonderful experience…

The length of the route: The way people often climb follow the road that is constructing a hydroelectric dam. You start from the suspension bridge, reach the rock cave, the Landmark 42, conquer the top of one of the top highest mountains in Vietnam and back. The total length is about 45.5km. The newest route is from the suspension bridge to the cave, straight to the top (without passing the Landmark 42). The way back crosses the Landmark 42 and the cave and back to the suspension bridge. The total length is 42km. If Fansipan is known as the rooftop of Indochina, one of the most famous mountains in Vietnam, Pu Si Lung is also mentioned as the roof of the border gate of Vietnam.

- Location: Near National Landmark 42 in Pa Ve Te commune, Muong Te district, Lai Chau province

## 3 - Putaleng – 3,049m high

It has an elevation, similar to that of the Pu Si Lung mountain range. Putaleng is on the list of the highest mountains in Vietnam that many backpackers aspire to conquer and discover in their journey. To conquer Putaleng peak, you can follow the schedule from Thau lake to the milestone of 2380m, then move from the landmark 2400 to the top of Putaleng and descend in the direction of Ta Leng village. The journey through the forest, crossing streams and climbing slopes to conquer the peak of Putaleng will certainly bring an exciting but equally adventurous feeling.

- Location: Ta Leng commune, Phong Tho district, Lai Chau province

## 4 - Ky Quan San – 3,046m high

Ky Quan San or Kou Kouan Chan (also known as Bach Moc Luong Tu) is one of the most beautiful mountains in Vietnam located on the boundary between two districts of Bat Xat, Lao Cai province and Phong Tho district, Lai Chau province, with an altitude of 3,046m compared above sea level, listed as the 4th highest mountain in Vietnam
