Description
Salem's Lot, which takes place in the ostensibly tranquil hamlet of Jerusalem's Lot, is the story of a village that is taken in by Kurt Barlow, an ancient vampire. As the narrative progresses, locals begin to vanish, exposing that Barlow has unleashed a lethal wave of vampirism with the assistance of his human companion Richard Straker. The story is on novelist Ben Mears, who goes back to Salem's Lot to confront the demons of his past only to discover that he is engaged in a bloody conflict with the vampire threat that is only becoming stronger.
