The 2023/2024 Champions League season will come to an end at Britain's largest stadium, Wembley. It will be the eighth European football final for London and the third in the history of the Champions League.The 32nd UEFA Champions League season will give the world the name of the new winner of the Euroleague trophy on 1 June 2024. The names of the contenders will be decided in two semi-finals, scheduled for 30 April/1 May and 7/8 May. The winner will receive the coveted football trophy, a 7.5kg cup. Its creator, the German sculptor Jürg Stadelmann, admits that although the trophy can hardly be called the best example of high art, it means a lot to the players and fans of the game. Possession of the trophy gives the winner a place in the UEFA Super Cup 2024, where the club that wins the Europa League 2023/2024 will be the opponent. The cup also gives the winning club the opportunity to qualify for the next Club World Cup in 2025.
