Description

General ticket sales for Bruno Mars concerts in Hong Kong open on September 24, 2026. Before that date, it makes sense to figure out which of the four shows to target, how the zones differ, and how the presale system works. The May 2027 performances at Kai Tak Stadium will be his first in the city in nearly nine years, and demand is expected to be strong.

The Schedule: Which Dates in May to Expect

The concert dates are May 7, 8, 11, and 12, 2027. By day of the week: Friday, Saturday, Tuesday, and Wednesday — two evenings fall on the weekend, two on weekdays, which gives flexibility when planning a trip. All four shows take place at Kai Tak Stadium in the Kowloon district of Hong Kong.

Alongside Hong Kong, the 2027 Asian leg of the tour includes Singapore, Bangkok, Kaohsiung, Manila, and Goyang in South Korea. Live Nation is organizing the tour. HK Ticketing handles ticket sales in Hong Kong, and Trip.com is the official travel partner.

Those considering multiple dates are better off deciding before sales open: at large-scale concerts in Hong Kong, seats in mid-price categories tend to sell out within the first few hours, leaving a significantly narrower selection afterward.

The Romantic Tour: Program and Tour Background

The concert program is built around Bruno Mars' fourth solo studio album «The Romantic», released on February 27, 2026. The Romantic Tour launched on April 10, 2026, in Nevada and set a Live Nation presale record on its very first day of sales in North America. Originally scheduled for 39 dates, the tour has grown to more than 115 shows worldwide, with Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia added along the way. The Japanese leg expanded to 12 additional arena performances — the largest indoor tour of its kind in the country's history.

«The Romantic» debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 and reached the top ten in Japan, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Australia, and a number of other countries. The nine-track album is rooted in retro soul, R&B, disco, and funk. Mars and producer D'Mile worked on it together.

At the Hong Kong shows, audiences can expect tracks from «The Romantic» — notably «I Just Might» and «Risk It All» — alongside material from earlier records: «24K Magic», «That's What I Like», «Locked Out of Heaven», «Just the Way You Are», and «Uptown Funk» with Mark Ronson. Mars has long built his live shows as a self-contained production with its own staging and pacing.

Who Joins Bruno Mars on Stage: Anderson .Paak as DJ Pee .Wee

Anderson .Paak is billed as a special guest at all four Hong Kong concerts, performing under his DJ Pee .Wee alias. That name comes from his collaborative project with Mars — the duo Silk Sonic, formed in 2021. Their debut album «An Evening with Silk Sonic» (2021) attracted widespread attention: the single «Leave the Door Open» won the Grammy for Record of the Year, and the duo received the award for Best New R&B Performance.

As DJ Pee .Wee, Anderson .Paak runs a DJ set that fits the flow of the evening and leaves room for Silk Sonic moments. This means the setlist will likely go beyond Mars' solo catalog: «Leave the Door Open» and «Smokin Out the Window» could well appear during the shows. .Paak's involvement makes the Hong Kong run something more than a live presentation of a single album.

Kai Tak Stadium: Venue Background and Practical Details

Kai Tak Stadium is the centrepiece of Kai Tak Sports Park, which opened on March 1, 2025, on the site of the former international airport in the Kowloon district. Construction took around six years and cost approximately HK$30 billion. The stadium holds up to 50,000 spectators and features a retractable roof. The south stand offers a view of Victoria Harbour.

In its first year of operation, the venue hosted several notable events. Four Coldplay concerts in April 2025 drew a combined audience of around 184,000. In July, an Arsenal vs. Tottenham Hotspur match was attended by 49,975 people. Bruno Mars is scheduled for four consecutive nights in May 2027.

The easiest way to reach the stadium is by MTR: Kai Tak and Sung Wong Toi stations are both within walking distance, with exit D at each. On concert days, extra bus routes are also in service; ferry connections run from Kowloon City Ferry Pier, which is close to the park on foot. Taxis have a dedicated drop-off zone separate from the vehicle pick-up area. Around 30 food and drink outlets operate inside the stadium, and the second-level bar «The Champion» spans 45 metres. Outside drinks are not permitted, though water machines are available on every floor.

Presale on September 23 and General On-Sale September 24: How Sales Work

Sales roll out in phases. On September 23, 2026, at 12:00 PM Hong Kong Time (HKT), two presales open simultaneously: one for artist subscribers via BrunoMars.com, the other for Live Nation Members. Both close at 11:59 PM the same day.

At the same time — 12:00 PM on September 23 — the Trip.com presale begins, running through 12:00 PM on September 24. General on-sale opens on September 24, 2026, at 12:00 PM HKT on the HK Ticketing platform.

Hong Kong is five hours ahead of Moscow (UTC+8 vs UTC+3): noon HKT corresponds to 7:00 AM Moscow time, 9:00 AM in Almaty, and 6:00 AM in Dubai. Creating an HK Ticketing account and verifying payment details before September 24 is advisable if you plan to be in the queue at the opening. The platform accepts international cards, but confirming this with their support team beforehand is a sensible step.

Standing or Seated: What to Consider When Choosing

Access rules differ by zone. Standing sections admit guests aged 12 and over with a minimum height of 140 cm. Seated sections are open from age 3 with no height restrictions. Anyone bringing children under 12 or shorter than 140 cm should book seated tickets only.

Practically speaking, the Standing zone at HK$1,499 puts you close to the stage with the freedom to move around — but it also means several hours on your feet in a dense crowd without a fixed sightline. Seated categories give a consistent view from one spot, which is most noticeable in central blocks at mid-tier levels.

The retractable roof means May weather in Hong Kong should not be a deciding factor. That said, getting into a 50,000-capacity venue takes time: factor in security checks and finding your section. For standing zones, arriving early helps secure a good spot on the floor. Water is easy to find on-site: machines are available on every level.
