Police drones patrol the outside, and raids are periodic, with law enforcement taking a chunk of the population away with every attack. Izi is looking to leave The Kitchen, keeping his Buena Vida plan private as his moving day draws near. He’s grown up in social housing, and he’s lost everyone in the process, trying to maintain work and a low profile as he goes about his business, which, in “The Kitchen,” is a tomorrow that’s absolutely covered in advertisements and mostly missing a human touch.
