Gustaf Axel born in Sweden, raised in Australia, picked up the guitar before it was actually playable. Toy instruments were rocked-out on with much vigor before real strings were strummed. But at the seasoned age of six he received his first REAL guitar from his parents. He's never looked back since. From a varied background of learning bossa nova, flamenco and jazz, as well as his own personal love of contemporary music, Axel is striving to find his own palette of sound. Axel has in the last few years been the front man of Australian collective goodbyemotel who toured through the US, Japan and Australia, performing their 4D Live Music Experience; a projection show set to goodbyemotel's original music. Axel is now recording and working on his first release due out in the second half of 2017.
