Description
In her devoted portrayal of the struggling Terry, Julia Garner—best recognized for her roles in the MeToo workplace drama The Assistant and the television series Ozark—gives it her all on Afdah Movies. However, once the story begins and Minnie, Roman, and the elderly Castevets are introduced, everything seems familiar. Don't get me wrong, Natalie Erika James masterfully creates an air of unease from the time Terry accepts to move into one of the Castevets' flats in Bramford, and McNally and Wiest in especially play excellent supporting roles. Rosemary's Baby had already explored the same tone and approach, which James slavishly repeats.
