Description

A traditional ballet class with barre, centre and allegro work. The lesson uses set exercises from the Royal Academy of Dance Advanced Foundation, Advanced One and Advanced Two syllabi, mixed with free work for dancers to enjoy, challenge themselves and stay fit.  Classes are for dancers aged 13 years and up (including adults) who are working confidently at an intermediate level or above. You don't have to know any of the syllabus work, just be familiar with most ballet steps.

Wear whatever you are comfortable in -proper ballet wear is always recommended. Better still, if you have a tutu, feel free to dust it off and bring it along! You should have suitable ballet shoes or Demi-pointes and long hair should be tied back (so you can see where you're going of course). There is no pointe work in this class.

Please arrive at least 5 minutes early to register. If you need to change at the centre you must use the changing facilities provided but you can bring belongings and valuables into the studio with you. Always inform the teacher at the start of the lesson if you have any injuries.
